HI every one, This is an exciteing year so far ,Well after a lot of persuation by friends customers and work collegues , 5 new models have been started and wil be released over the next two years . These will be large but the same scale 1/76 1/72. They consist of a De Haverland Comet 4C, Vickers VC10 C1,Standard as used by The RAF which has a Standard fuselarge and super VC 10 wings plus Cargo door and fin fuel tank , two sections will be made to turn it into a Super VC10 Along with differant engines . reverse thrusters on all 4. A Bristol Britannia . A Shorts Belfast.
A few asked for this as a special request . An Antonov 225-100 the largest plane in the world . some of these model wil be over 2 foot long , the Antonov is nearly the lenght of a normal ironing board give or take an inch
Stages they are at:----
Comet ready to Mold
VC 10 standard being Molded
Britannia half way through being made
Belfast started one half of fusealarge nearly ready
Antonov first stage of making ie outline being laid onto board with ribs
All these aircraft will have opening doors ,Brit and VC10 will have large side cargo door .
Belfast will have opening rear cargo ramp
Antonov will have Opening nose
Brit, Comet , VC 10 , and Belfast will have retractable Undercart and as far as possable resembling the actual way it works on the real aircraft , but im affraid with out the electrics and hydrolics . unsure about the Antonov at this time , but have ideas to make it retractable , Diagrams will be provided to fabricate some of these all raw material wiil be in kit. ive made one side in an hour and these was the protypes. so with diagrams it should be quicker for the experienced modeller
All as far as possible will have working anti collision flashers landing lights and nav lights
They will all be in kit form . Any extra weight needed to keep the nose on the ground will be molded in , but only enough to do the job .
They will not be released until the first one from the mold has be assembled and painted
Due to the detail and work involved also the size, plus materials going up monthly, THE VC10 ,BRIT , AND BELFAST will be well over 100gbp the Comet I hope will be 100gbp or under and the anonov will be 250 gbp or close too bearing in mind you will be getting a detailed high quality model.. with detail no other kits give you ,fine detail will not be included ie:- rivets seams that are invisable on the real one till you are close . how ever the main panel marks will be included where i can find the information
As soon as i get the first one assembled and painted i will get it onto the site all but the Antonov will be in white and grey, R A F Air support Command colours as they were in the late 60's early70's.you can of course Paint your aircraft any Airline colours you wish , colour schemes can be found for most airlines via your PC search engine .The only decols provided to start with will be RAF others will follow as time permits .
Up dates will be added to this as and when things happen
I WILL PUT SOME PHOTOS OF THESE AIRCRAFT ON MY SITE TOMORROW SO THAT YOU CAN SEE WHAT THE REAL ONES LOOK LIKE AND AS A REFERANCE .
